I booked this hotel for just one night due to a very late flight arrival. I arrived by taxi and was checked into a room on the third floor. As soon as I opened the door, I was hit by an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke — it was genuinely unpleasant and unacceptable. I immediately returned to reception and requested a different room. They gave me one on the ground floor, which also had an odd, unexplainable smell, though not as bad as the first. I couldn’t help but wonder: why wasn’t I given this room in the first place? The overall condition of the hotel was poor and clearly in need of improvement. The bathroom was below acceptable standards — not clean, not well-maintained, and not comfortable to use. Breakfast was also disappointing, with only a few very basic items on offer. I understand this was a budget stay, but cleanliness, air quality, and basic comfort should never be compromised. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works toward improving the guest experience.
